New 1/1250 scale waterline metal model of the French central battery armor-clad battleship Redoutable by Navis (NA 418N).
Redoutable was the first warship in the world to use steel as the principal building material. Construction started December 1872 and the ship was launched September 18, 1876. She served primarily with the French Mediterranean Squadron. Sold for scrap August 17, 1911.
